Unfortunately, Mr David Owen who was due to speak to us on the upper Rhondda Fach is unable to come. Hopefully, he will be with us next year. We are therefore very grateful to Mr Viv Griffiths for agreeing at short notice to come on the 14th May. Many thanks to Daphne Gadd for the contact. Members are also reminded that if they wish to come on the Heart of Wales trip they need to let us know at the meeting.

Looking for my family in resolven.My grandfather was born there at Pen-y-gelly or pan-y-gelly farm.He immigrated to australia.His name John Thomas Lawrence.I have wanted to come to your village for many years to walk the streets my family had walked.Hoping someone there would know of my heritage.
